a Brooklyn-based band fronted by singer-songwriter Andrew Zapanta with Sarah Wood (backing vocals/melodica/percussion), Joel Pixley-Fink (bass) and Ry Pilla (drums/backing vocals).
Zap & The Naturals have been the featured act at many NYC events including, Backpacker Magazine's Adventure NYC in Central Park, the multimedia extravaganza "The United States of Conciousness" in Williamsburg, "Mothership" in lower Manhattan and "The Digable Arts Festival" in Hoboken, NJ.
Their music is an original fusion of indie soul and reggae. In 2006, Andrew was voted “Songwriter Of the Year” by International Online magazine.
